Mrs. Hunter’s 7th Grade Haltom Math

Who Am I?

Hey!

I was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, but moved to Texas as a baby.  I grew up in Houston and moved to the Dallas, Fort Worth area in 1990.  I have grown to love Fort Worth immensely.  I was married July 4th, 2007 and have a wonderfully large family.  My husband, Tracey, and I have 5 amazing children with 1 cat, 1 hamster, and 4 fish.  We plan on building our animal kingdom this summer.  Very exciting!

I graduated from Texas Women’s University in Denton in 2005.  It was an incredible experience.  Finally reaching a dream after so many years of planning was so fulfilling.  When we set our minds to something, we can achieve anything!

Teaching is the best thing I have ever done.  Even when the morning starts out rough, a student always has an extra smile or encouraging word to share.  God has blessed me in giving me a job that includes being able to do the work of my heart’s desire.  Teaching 7th grade was actually my dream job.  If I could do anything, what would I do?  Teaching was my answer.  Here I am!  Miraculous.  Who would have thought it would be so easy to love 135 kids at one time?  I guess anything really is possible.
