We all worked together to develop a working agreement in our classroom.  It is grouped into 4 categories; thinking, listening, speaking, and behavior.  Each class was able to list the characteristics that make the very best learning enviroment for them.  We put them all together and came up with 4 guidelines for each category.  They are posted on my walls.  This system should help all students remember the behavior expectations in my class.
